 About Us

Yes To Fair Redevelopment was set up by local Southwark Tenants and Residents who identified a set of common issues faced by campaigns opposing plans proposed by  Southwark Council's New Homes Programme.

The common issues are:

 Removal of estate amenities

 Demolition

 Structurally unsound rooftop builds

 Infill

 Densification

Lack of consultation of tenants and residents

Removal of Green Spaces and Trees

The locations that are affected are local council estates and green spaces.

You can view the plans the council has on Southwark Commonplace.

We campaign collectively for Southwark Council to recognise our 8 demands.

We want new council homes but any redevelopment on estates should be appropriate, fair and democratically planned with estate residents

No to the destruction of structurally sound council homes

No to the removal of green space, play areas, community facilities

Homes for people, not for profit
